With over 25 years of experience in Human Resources and labor relations, Ida oversees the Human Resources function with adjacent responsibility for internal communications, change management and culture.
Ida has been tasked with creating fit for purpose programs that drive employee engagement, motivation and performance; designing career paths and development opportunities; enriching cultural experiences and identity; and continuously seeking efficiencies in HR administrative services.
Prior to U.S. Silica, she held VP leadership positions in HR spanning 15 years at NexTier Oilfield Solutions, Newpark Resources, Schlumberger, Smith International and M-I SWACO.
Ida earned a BA in Modern Languages from Texas A&M University and a MS in Human Resources from Houston Baptist University (Houston Christian University). She holds SHRM-CP and CCP certifications from SHRM and World at Work, respectively.
